APPEARANCE

Very clearly a young boy, Sun stands at 4'7" 1/2 tall (that half is important!!). He's got shoulder length choppy blue-black hair that he leaves unstyled for the most part, besides brushing it every now and again. His eyes are a light blueish grey color. He wears a black ball cap most of the time that he turns to the side for that ~*~fashionable~*~ look. His attire consists of a blue striped short sleeve shirt, black short/capris with red trim, and blue tennis shoes. He also has a a black and blue backpack. More often than not he's covered in scratches, cuts, bruises and all sorts of bandages here and there.

POWERS

Besides his Pokemon, Sun gained two powers unique to the setting of Mask or Menace. The first is just the move Pay Day from Pokemon, where he can summon and fling gold coins at enemies. It's not a very powerful attack, but it could be used for a good diversion technique. It hurts about as much as you can expect getting hit by a bunch of coins would. Using this power drains Sun's stamina and after it's first use for the day any subsequent uses will result in fools gold coins being scattered instead.

The second power he gained works on the Poke Ride system in Alola. He can in a flash of light both change his clothes and gain a variety of powers depending on the ride he had in mind before activating the power at will. The rides he can use are Tauros Charge, Stoutland Search, Lapras Paddle, Mudsdale Gallop, Sharpedo Jet, and Machamp Shove. This power uses Sun's stamina as well though depending on the ride he is using will either take more or less energy to keep up.

THE TRAINER

Sun is a Trainer originally from the Kanto region who aims to collect 100 million yen. To do so, he takes on various jobs in order to raise the money he needs. Due to his main line of work being delivery, everyone calls him "Sun the Delivery Boy" (Japanese: 運び屋サン Sun the Courier). For his endeavors to collect money, he is given the title of "Saver" (貯める者 Saver).

Guzma Sun just can’t seem to escape this guy. He’s gotten used to the idea that this Guzma isn’t the same one he knows of. He’s still squinting at the fact Guzma said what Sun went through totally sounds like something he would do, but you know ok. Fine. This one is different. All their interactions seem to end in fights though, which is why Sun would rather just avoid him if he can. Though because of the frequency he’s getting used to expecting it and taking a more amused approach to Guzma’s anger when he does have to suffer his presence. That’s something that is probably not very wise as he continues to push the limit on how much he can rile the other.	Golisopod It was a rough start for Sun, given that Guzma’s Golisopod was the one who threw him and later broke his arm at Guzma’s command. Sun knows not to blame the Pokemon for it’s trainers actions, but it’s still Guzma’s partner so... Golisopod here seems different though, definitely more friendly and it’s stepped in to de-esculate a few particularly heated situations in which Sun is thankful. Sun’s still a little bit wary at times, but generally he’s opened up to trusting the buggy boi a bit. He’s certainly better than dealing with Guzma.	Jill Sun really like Jill! Not only did she offer him a part time job when he first arrived, she’s a surprisingly chill lady. He’s consistently surprised by her

More often than not he's covered in scratches, cuts, bruises and all sorts of bandages here and there.

PERSONALITY

At first glance, Sun is pretty typical for an 11 year old boy. He's shown to be very outgoing and friendly with a good sense of humor. Though he's not the brightest. He's definitely one to act first instead of thinking things through and he won't pretend to understand something he doesn't know. He carries with him a sense of carefree attitude almost, but that's far from the truth. Besides his friendly outgoing personality, the first thing people notice is just how hardworking he is. He always seems to have some sort of job lined up or work he's currently doing that takes top priority. He takes his work very seriously and his dedication and determination for doing a thorough completed good job are paramount.

Overall, he's very hardworking even if it's for self-centered reasons. He certainly does care about people and help others, but it doesn't come across all the time. Appropriate compensation is important after all! He's slow to trust, but he doesn't need to get into those sorts of details with people. He's outgoing and friendly enough that people don't need to see more than the surface. It's not hindering his work after all.

Personality:
At first glance, Sun is pretty typical for an 11 year old boy. He's shown to be very outgoing and friendly with a good sense of humor. He is certainly not the brightest 11 year old though. He is one to definitely act first instead of thinking things through and he won't pretend to understand something he doesn't know. He carries with him a sense of carefree attitude almost, but that's far from the truth. The first thing you really notice as you get to know the boy is he is an extremely hardworking person. He always seems to have some sort of job lined up or that he's currently doing and it is very obvious it is his top priority. He takes his work very seriously and his dedication and determination for completing and doing a good job are paramount. Despite all the hard work he does though he doesn't complain and honestly seems to enjoy himself. His work is a point of pride even.

His whole world honestly is focused strictly on his personal goals. It's never a matter of what he can do to help other people, it's how everything can benefit him and further his goals. It makes him a bit of a penny pincher since his ultimate goal is to save up a hundred million yen. He always makes a point to clarify with other characters that if he's receiving something from someone that they intend to give it to him for free. On the flip side, unless he is getting paid for something he wants no part of it. He was annoyed and gave no effort when he was forced to participate in a Pokemon tournament early in the manga. It wasn't until a valuable prize was offered that he gave any effort. He was happy to throw the match completely before that as there was no point in him being there. No money was to be made.

There is more than meets the eye to all this hard work though. His goal of making money is very personal to him as he is determined to get his great-grandfather's island back from the Aether Foundation and fulfill his great-grandfather's dream. This is something Sun is very private about. He doesn't divulge personal problems readily and would rather keep it that way. Though he's a very expressive person so it's possible to call him out when there is something deeper going on, he just wouldn't have brought it up on his own. He's very cagey about it all honestly and actively acts very secretive about it.

For example he waited until everyone was asleep before even counting how much money he had saved up. Later still after being told the man he was saving all the money for was simply joking and the last 5 years of his life were basically for nothing, he doesn't talk about it at all. Immediately after this revelation he gets pulled into Ultra Space with one other person for 6 months. In all that time he never spoke about what occurred and it's even remarked by the other character that he doesn't even act like he was phased by what happened.

Really what it comes down to is that Sun doesn't trust people with those sorts of things. In general he shows he doesn't trust easily. He never expects people to help him or give him something freely. He always suspects there are strings attached or ulterior motives. Thanks to the Aether Foundation though his biggest hang ups with trust involve big organizations. Specifically when groups claim they do things for the greater good or to help those who need it. He flat out does not trust groups like that.

Abilities:
Pokemon: The on hand list minus the Stakataka. His Pokémon he will be bringing in game would be Dollar, En, Baht, Franc, and Dong. I'm using the original names for his team instead of the English translation ones.

Ride Pager: Every ride besides Charizard seen in canon so far. As the ride Pokémon are still in Alola however, Sun will not be able to page for a ride in game.

Alignment:
Thras: I felt this alignment was the most fitting for Sun's ambition and drive for his goals. Sun is certainly determined enough if he wasn't phased by being told he needed to get a hundred million yen at 6 years old only to actually succeed only 5 years later.

Emotion Sample: Literal suffocating heavy air during a tense moment

Questions: Sun has over 30 Zygarde cells and 1 Zygarde core on him. Zygarde is a pokemon though and I know he can only bring 5 in with him. Is it possible for him to keep his cells, but just not have them be able to form together until perhaps a regain? Even in canon the cells can only keep it's 10% form for a few minutes at most anyways.
